wow, thats awesome man!
were there any others on there?
And when you say 'won', do you really mean 'sniped'? :0)
no there were no others..and what do you mean by sniped?
Oh, something my friend used to say. He was a crazy Ebay fanatic. He'd sit there til there was about 10 seconds left then quickly put his bid in at the last moment and win stuff all the time. He called it 'sniping'.
ah okay..nah I got it buy it now and it was only up for a couple hours...but yeah I do that sometimes waiting until like the last couple mins, if you don't the seller/other buyers sometimes bids against you and you have to pay more for no reason.
awesome sketch there bro, congrats on the win! I wouldn't take it out from the frame if I was you. In regards to snipping, check out this site http://www.esnipe.com/ if I remember correctly you can instruct esnipe to bid on an auction for you with 3 seconds left till the end of the auction. I've used it before and I've won many auctions with it. ;)
Congratulations, man. Color me jealous, for sure.
How much did you pay for it?? Just curious is all. Charest stuff always goes for a few grand on Ebay.
Well I'm guessing it would have went for like around 500$ but the seller put a buy it now for a 100$ and it was only on for maybe an 1hr, So I got it for a super deal.
You are EXTREMELY lucky my friend! May I suggest purchasing some lottery tickets this evening? With luck like that you're golden!!
There's an inked page from X-Men up for grabs on Ebay now for you U.S. guys. Better get in there quick!
woooooooooooooooooow
What most impressive about his find is that fact that it's a Battle Chasers sketch. Most of his BC artwork has been kept in the artists possession and away from public hands. The fact he was able to aquire such a sketch is quite rare and certainly raises the value considerably. Plus the image is breathtaking and downright fantastic! A very cool find indeed.
That's exactly why I got it. I think I've only seen a couple BC pages up for sale anywhere not just ebay and most were the pages inked by Jason Martin that he himself was selling.
Funny thing too If I wouldn't have jumped at it as soon as I saw it I know I wouldn't have gotten it, I bet it would've sold like in an hour after I got it.
