Well been back from Mexico for a couple weeks now, but still healing got sun burned like crazy. We had a great time saw some huge Iguanas and a Shark. Feels like I need another vacation though(Vegas in August) very tired working all the overtime after coming back.

Looks like while I was gone there was a couple Mad! art sightings on the Darksiders website as well as tons of videos and images. Looks like they just added another interview Mad! made on tv today on X-Play, if you haven't checked them out head over there now. The game keeps looking better and better I hope they have an artbook and a collector's edition of the game.

Also you can check out some inks by Scott Williams on Mad's Ultimates to see what it would look like inked. Speaking of inks you can check out tons of Mad's art on Tim Townsend's deviant art page. I forgot to mention this site before and I probably won't be posting these or Mad's Darksiders images here I'm not sure if they want me too.

Wow I totally forgot to post these. I've been so busy with work. Hopefully this can keep the fire lighted around here it's been pretty quiet for awhile. Hopefully some news will come up soon. I want to give a big thanks to Fabio for sending the sketches, I always love seeing Joe Mad sketches..there is always something to see Mad's roughs.. roughs ha ha there so good it's hard to call them roughs.

I scanned the inside of the Play magazine, its poor quality my scanner is to small for play magazine. onslaught36 also has found the pencils for the same page at Shacknews.com

I won't be around much this week it's my girlfriend's birthday and we're out camping.

So here it is the sketch. I'm so excited to have this hanging on my wall..so awesome. I want to thank Kin for hooking me up and of course Mad! for drawing such a sweet pic.

Joe Mad! has wrote me and sent me some exclusive pencils for the comic promo and the Play Magazine cover...let the drooling begin!

Also Mad! has made some post on the message boards..say Hello!

There is also tons of new videos of Darksiders on Gametrailers Darksiders page, They're from Comic Con.

Speaking of Comic Con Kin was able to get me a sketch of War from Darksiders..I'm so excited to see it and I just wanted to give a big Thank You to Kin for hooking me up. I will post a picture of the sketch when I get it...thanks Kin!

I'm also still looking for pictures that I know I need to put on the site that people asked for (the Shaq picture), I got tons to do and very little time...but I'm looking for them.

THey have already put up the cover to the online comic, I have also added it here.

Las but not least I have added my scan of the new Play Magazine cover Mad! has done for Darksiders. I had to piece it together in PS so please excuse the line, if you can see it. There is another image from Mad! on the insider and I will scan it when I get another few copies, I don't want to ruin my book...or you could go pick one up..it's worth it.

Hopefully I got everything it's been a busy day..if any was at the SDCC and met Mad! post your story and pics if you got some on the boards.

Another video has been posted on Gamestop Joe Mad showing game footage of Darksiders...game is looking more amazing everytime.

Holy Sh!t! This website is f$@kin awsome! The animated graphic characters look awsome! If they could redo World of Warcraft with this type of graphic I would so be in love. This team has taken video game graphics to a whole new level.

isn't that game suppose to be out now or is it still in development !? seems like he's been promoting it at every game shows.not sure tho.i wish he would go back to being a comic book artist then a video game designer

Working on Darksiders I guess. don't think he'll participate on forums and stuff, he once posted a message on -concept art- forum because a job was available on his department and the response were questions on BC and if he was returning to comics...

Feels weird seeing Joe's old pencil work lol. I think "Wow! Joe slacked off in so much detail. . . how could he ever miss a deadline!", but when I compare his past work with todays I'm amazed to see he put so much more effort into filling up the empty space. When I look at Darksider I think "Comic Book", when I look at his past work I think "Animation". Anyway, thanks for post these up! Also Thanks Joe for letting Nathen post these up lol! I think this is enough to fuel me up for while. :P

yeah i guess lazy was a poor choice of word. i just hope that he's not pulling another battle chasers again or better yet, i hope he's back drawing battle chasers. just want to see how that story ends

Errr... I wouldn't go that far to say "he's lazy". I'm sure Joe has his reasons for not handing over the goodies. Gotta remember this isn't just a JoeMad decision this is a JoeMad and company decision on weither or not he is allowed to post any art on the web.
