The Vigil Games site has updated, nothing much but there's some art on there. I don't know they're by Mad! yet.

I also updated the Links section with 34 new links and I removed some that haven't been working for a long time.

Other interesting note, in the new Wizard #178 there's an article about J Scott Campbell working on Spider Man. In the article Jeph Loeb shows Campbell at a meeting a binder full of Mad! artwork for Ultimates Vol 3. Campbell says "Joe's style has really evolved. He's really taken it to the next level." You can see some of Campbell's sketches for Spider Man here. I never had any doubts that it would look good, but hearing it from Campbell that Mad! is taking it too the next level makes it hard to not be even more excited for the book...I wish I could see that binder too

Mike a.k.a. Madjoy on the boards posted on his Mad! Blog with news that the Dungeon Runners website updated with some new concept art from Mad!. I have upload the 12 images to the site for easy access. The Dungeon Runners site also has some wallpapers with Mad! art, only one had different art and I added that image too..but still check them out if you want some Mad! wallpapers. Also if you check out one of the pictures it is the same as one used for the Exarch game. I also made a Dungeon Runners section in the video games section and you'll notice some doubles of the images, they are the same but the early ones are better quality.

I also heard back from Mad! a few weeks ago and he confirmed he did design the image on the front of the Vigil Games site and I have uploaded it also. Mad! also said how Ultimates is going..."Ultimates is coming along nicely. Loeb's given me some very fun stuff to draw, so it's not that hard to bang out cool pages. It's definitely some of my favorite personal stuff in a while. Anyhow, getting back to it ( actually trying to finish another page tonight!)." Hopefully we will get to see some more art from Ultimates soon...hint hint Joe.

I will probably update the links section in a couple days too, so look for that.

news from the IGN site..

"Today, THQ announced their acquisition of Vigil Games, a Texas based studio currently working on next-gen titles scheduled to be released in 2008.

According to Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of world wide studios at THQ, "This acquisition is part of our Studio System strategy, which is designed to foster a singular vision and unique culture at each of our studios. Our system allows us to leverage resources across our entire development organization to the benefit of each of our studios.

Vigil Games is led by David Adams, the former director and creator of several NCsoft projects as well as Joe Madureira, who worked on both Marvel's Uncanny X-Men series and his own Battle Chasers series. Its first project is slated to be announced later this year. "

so looks like we will be able to see what the new game is by Vigil and Mad! by the end of the year and looks to be on the PS2(or PS3 by that time) and Xbox360 too...sweet!

Well first went the Email section and now the Comments section, I hope I don't have to remove the Forums too. Sorry to some of you that enjoyed those things, but I just can't deal with the comments...nothing like waking up to super offensive comments that are directed at you only because you created a site for the artist you enjoy..

..So you win Jason I asked Steven to remove the comments section from the front page. I can't keep up with deleting all your offensive comments and all the people your impersonating.

sorry everybody

JoshuaTheJames over at conceptart.org posted this LINK of some concept art done by Mad! for a game called Dungeon Runner(I think) by NcSoft. There's 3 images by Mad!, I'm not sure if these are done under the Vigil company or some older concepts that are now just been shown, I'll look into and maybe see if Mad! can give some info if he's not busy. Thanks for the news Joshua!

The new Wizard is out! and while the article is short it's great to see some news from Mad! and a new sketch. I have put the article up along with the sketch..there is another page in the magazine but it's just the Captain America drawing that I've already scanned.

*Update* Everything seems to still be there it's just a matter of reorganizing the galleries back together and putting the names back on the images. I've already organized the whole BC section and named the images (mostly). Hopefully I will finish getting them all the sections organized and named tonight/tomorrow..it only took an hour or so to put the names back for the BC section, but my wrist sounds like crackle now..so I will take a break and do some more after dinner. The Link sections is different but I think better and they're all back..and I already have about 50 new links to add in a couple days. Plus a HUGE thanks to Steven for getting the stuff back and adding some sections back, if not for him everything would have definitely been lost for sure and probably for good..cause I sure as hell wouldn't have known how to fix it..Thanks Steven!

P.S. If you want to view all the images for now they're in the Other section and will be there until the get reorganized.

Well something happened to the website and everyting has dissapeared. Working on readding everything again, but it will take some time. More news later.
